Parker Brown Inc. recently completed an 11,069 square-foot second-floor tenant improvement for the California Department of General Services (DGS) in early 2026.
The project delivered a new office environment for the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), including a reception and waiting area, judge’s chambers, conference rooms, a break room, and multiple private offices—designed to support both daily operations and public-facing functions.
With Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings held every two weeks and a collaborative team of more than a dozen participants, the project’s success was driven by consistent communication and strong coordination among DGS, DIR, Majestic Asset Management, and the Parker Brown team.
Thanks to that shared effort, the end user was able to move in and begin operations on schedule.
