2016 was a big year for Parker Brown and now the San Fernando Valley Business Journal has confirmed it. Two of Parker Brown’s projects completed in 2016 won awards from the business journal at its Commercial Real Estate Awards program on March 15 at Woodland Hills Country Club.
Parker Brown’s 100,000 square-feet remodeling of Sage Publishing’s headquarters in Newbury Park was awarded the gold award for tenant improvement. We worked with PK Architecture, Inc., on the project. Moving hundreds of employees, according to Sage CEO Blaise Simque, was smooth and painless.
Parker Brown’s 12,000 square-feet building at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley won the silver award for public projects. We built a home for the temporary showing of the Vatican artifacts in a temperature-controlled climate to protect these ancient valuables. It is now being used as a virtual reality area for the museum.
